Snorkeling is a great way to observe our beautiful underwater life without all the extensive training and complicated equipment required for scuba diving.
We will provide the wetsuit, mask, snorkel and fins as well as a short training session to make sure you are comfortable with the mask and snorkel.
Not keen to get in the water but would like to come and watch your friends and family snorkel? You’re more than welcome to join on the boat at an additional R400 per person.

If we cancel because of unsafe weather, we try to do that 24 hours before arrival. Full refund will be given, it will take -/+ 7 working days to complete. Cape Town Bucket List covers all bank charges.
In the event of no sightings, you will be eligible for a voucher to reschedule.

- If you cancel/do not pitch up to your scheduled trip, you will unfortunately not be able to receive a refund. In the event where you would like to reschedule your booking thereafter, a R100pp penalty fee applies.

Excellent experience, the guides are very helpful and supportive. My partner and I were not very experienced in swimming, but they assisted us and gave us floaties, the suits also help with staying afloat, so it was not an issue. I was nervous, but the guides helped me interact with seals more which made the experience all the more rewarding. It was fascinating to see the seals in their natural habitat in the open ocean. We always meet at the very end of Signal hill drive, once you get to the parking area you will be welcomed by our take off manager Witness, signed up and briefed on the launch. Once you’re securely clipped in, all you need to do is take a few light steps before you’re flying! With an expert pilot behind you, you will feel just great!
Tandem paragliding gives you an amazing sense of freedom. Once in the air, most people are surprised at how relaxed they feel. You’ll sit comfortably upright (like on your sofa at home). You won’t feel like you’re sinking or falling at all, since you glide, nearly horizontally, through the air at around 40 km/hr.
In optimal weather conditions you even have the chance to fly the paraglider yourself! Your instructor will place his hands above yours to show you how to steer. It really is quite simple and really, really fun! This, like the aerobatics before landing, are completely optional of course!

I want to give an outstanding review to the team at Parapax for an amazing experience. It was the highlight of our holiday! Right from the beginning, the staff at Parapax exuded a sense of calm and professionalism that made us feel very comfortable about the whole adventure. Just to be clear - this was definitely outside of our normal comfort zone! Our pilots, Frank and Alowise, were outstanding. They gave us just the right amount of instruction to do a great job and glided the parachutes to an expert landing. My only wish was that the trip could have been longer - alas we couldn't control the wind. I highly recommend this adventure to anyone with interest in this type of a trip.
